Brazil vs. Germany: Preview Of World Cup 2014 SemiFinal Match

The first semifinal of FIFA World Cup 2014 will be played tomorrow between host Brazil and Germany. We are expecting a great football match. The Brazilian public want to see their side lift a sixth world title. But the path is not easy for them.
Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few days, you'll be well-aware of all issues, Brazil faced in last few days. Striker Neymar is out for the rest of the World Cup matches with a back injury, while defensive anchor Thiago Silva is suspended for the semifinal match. Still Brazil have many heroes who can change the game at any moment. Quarterfinals game-winning hero David Luiz and Dante have proven capable of stepping up, along with a goalkeeper like Julio Cesar who has thrived in clutch World Cup situations.

Germany have lots of advantages when we compared them with Brazil. No key players are injured, and they seem to be finding their feet. It will be rather disappointing for Germany if they can't take advantage of a favorable situation.

Germans have made three consecutive semifinals prior without winning the World Cup. If Germany can beat Brazil, they would have an excellent chance to take home the World Champion title. Germany are undefeated in Brazil World Cup but have not faced a Latin American team yet. Their four wins were against Portugal, the United States, Algeria and France with a draw against Ghana.

What Brazil Coach says

"The team will miss the way he plays, the happiness. I'm sure that tomorrow they will play for Neymar, but also for themselves and, above all, for the goal of the whole group - to qualify for the final," Scolari told reporters. "He has done his share, now it's up to us, myself, Thiago, the others and all the Brazilian people. This is the match where we are playing for everything we dreamed of, for each and every one of us, and for Neymar."

What German Coach Says

"No one should think that Neymar's absence or Thiago Silva's absence is a drawback," said Germany coach Joachim Loew. "With (central defender) Dante playing for Thiago Silva you can't expect him to play badly especially against Germany." "A top player missing means other players take responsibility and I am sure they will play for Neymar and for the entire country", he added
