The closing ceremony of 2014 World Cup football will take place at the Estadio do Maracana, Brazil, which is one of the biggest stadiums in the world. Shakira will be the main attraction among various performers, making it her third consecutive World Cup performance. Apart from Shakira, the closing ceremony will also be filled with exciting performances of Wyclef Jean, Carlos Santana, Brazilian superstar Ivete Sangalo and Alexander Pires.

The FIFA World Cup 2014 closing ceremony will start at 10:50pm IST on Sunday (2:20 p.m. BRT / 01:20 p.m. EDT / 6:20 p.m. BST) ahead of the final match between Germany and Argentina. Already we have mentioned that the mega closing ceremony will be held at Estádio do Maracanã stadium, Rio de Janeiro. This is one of the oldest stadium in Brazil, which was built when Brazil hosted the World Cup in 1950.
The Closing Ceremony of Brazil World Cup 2014 will begin 2 hours before the kick off of the FIFA World Cup Final. That means, the Ceremony should begin at 14:00 local time. In India, the closing the ceremony will be begin at 10:30 pm.

The officials of FIFA World Cup 2014 have confirmed that Shakira will perform at the closing ceremony. The sensational pop icon, who performed the 2010 World Cup official song "Waka Waka", will live perform again on Sunday to belt out the song "La La La (Brazil 2014)" with Brazilian singer Carlinhos Brown. Shakira also performed her single Hits "Hips Don’t Lie" At the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Berlin. Santana, Wyclef and Alexandre Pires will perform "Dar Um Jeito" -- the Official Anthem of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The FIFA 2014 closing ceremony is choreographed by the Italian choreographer Franco Dragone. He also choreographed the opening ceremony of the mega event.
Spanish footballer Carles Puyol will unveil the FIFA World Cup trophy alongside Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen, minutes before the final.
